As if working on one milestone wasn’t enough for us this week, we decided to tackle another: drinking from cups!
They’d been getting pretty good at rinsing their mouths using a cup at tooth brushing time so I’d been thinking about this for a while. But of course I put it off for fear of both mess and failure. But I was feeling confident today, and gave them cups to try out. Like the aforementioned other milestone of the week, there were some dribbles but they’re getting the hang of it.
I am starting to imagine a life without changing diapers or washing sippy cup parts. What will I do with all that time and money? Bonbons and soap operas, of course.
Anyways…instead of constantly nagging them to hold their cups with two hands, I thought I’d join them.
Thanks Krystyn for hosting Mommy and Me Monday!

That is cute! I am the same way, I get paranoid when my daughter drinks out of a cup because usually, it ends in a mess.
It really is the little things! Y’all are so cute!

hope we can exchange links… Thanks…
What a fun photo! I’m kinda in the process of getting my two oldest to use cups also. As simple as it sounds I never even thought of the two hand thing (I’ve been relying on straws to prevent spills) Have to try that!
awwwwwwwwww…that’s a pretty neat idea….:) cute!
thanks for dropping by!
Super cute! We had to drink out of sippy cups to get our kids to do it.
Fortunately, daycare did the transition to the cups (I just had to wash the clothes).
Wonderful, good job girls.
